  • Use of the calculator does not grant any rights to the underlying software or branding.
  • BSI retains full control over updates, licensing, and permitted use of the tool.

Farm Emissions Method

  • The Farm Emissions Method used in the On-Farm Emissions Calculator includes third-party intellectual property licensed from the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), used with permission.
  • It is based on MPI’s Farm Emissions Model and produces a standard output for a New Zealand farm situation, aligned with national inventory methodologies.
  • Use of this method is subject to the terms of the FEM licence.
